Prepositions of place.
As preposições são palavras que mostram onde pessoas e objetos estão, ou a posição em relação entre pessoas e objetos.
Há muitas preposições, mas vamos estudar as mais usadas.

3. At - em (usamos quando não podemos usar nem in e nem on)
4. Near - perto
5. Under - em baixo
6. Over - acima
7. Below - abaixo
8. Above - acima
9. Round, around - ao redor

11. Among - entre, uma entre várias
12. Between - entre (duas coisas)
13. Behind - atrás
14. In front of - em frente de/da/do
15. Along - ao longo de
16. Across - do outro lado

Prepositions show exactly where things are.
Examples:
1. The coke is next to the cartons of milk.
2. The ice cream is over the fruit, near the yogurt.
3. The butter is among the fruit, above the cake.
4. The cake is between the orange juice and the tomato juice.
5. The fish is under the chicken, above the grapes.
6. The vegetables are in the drawer, over the meat.
7. The watermelon is next to the apple, below the cake.
8. The chicken is in the fridge, above the fish.
9. The pinguin is on the fridge.
10. The orange juice is beside the cake.
